Manufacturers' Institute currently offers two items:
1) The
Well-Built Book: Art & Technology — A compelling, 28-minute
presentation explaining the book manufacturing process from pre-press to
press to bindery. Now available in DVD format only.
2)
Manufacturing Standards & Specifications for Textbooks (MSST) — The
official Advisory Commission on Textbook Specifications (ACTS)
publication detailing the approved guidelines for the manufacture of
elementary and high school textbooks.
